Crude Oil

Crude Oil futures for December settled down -$7.66 or -7.357% at $96.46. Oil prices fell sharply on Monday as rising hopes for a diplomatic breakthrough in the US-Iran conflict calmed fears of major supply disruptions. Upward momentum unraveled following comments from President Donald Trump suggesting an agreement could be reached, alongside reports from Iran’s state-run IRNA agency that Iran's supreme leader granted authority to pursue talks to end the months-long crisis.

Natural Gas

Natural Gas futures for December settled down -$.042 or -1.449% at $2.856. Natural gas prices finished lower today as mild temperature outlooks continued to suppress heating demand expectations, pulling U.S. natural gas values lower on the day.
