Crude Oil
Crude Oil futures for December settled up $2.88 or 2.883% at $102.78. Oil prices rebounded on Wednesday as intensifying Middle East clashes stirred fears over potential supply shocks. Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis struck Aden airport and asserted a missile hit on Saudi Arabia's primary oil refinery, a facility handling 550,000 barrels per day, though Saudi officials have yet to confirm damage to the refinery.
Natural Gas
Natural Gas futures for December settled up $.028 or .932% at $3.032. Natural gas prices climbed today, buoyed by expanding LNG export demand. Daily feedgas intake across nine primary export terminals reached 19.2 bcfd over the last two weeks, lifting October's month-to-date flow average to 18.3 bcfd compared to 17.9 bcfd in September as European and Asian buyers scrambled for winter shipments.
