Crude Oil futures for November settled up $2.25 or 2.219% at $103.66. Oil prices advanced on Monday, touching a new one-month peak following a 10% surge last week as fresh Middle East hostilities intensified physical supply disruption fears. Operational anxiety mounted after a senior Iranian defense official cautioned on Sunday that Tehran has finalized a retaliatory framework should US-Israeli military strikes recur, while regional maritime agencies confirmed multiple independent strikes on commercial ships operating around the Arabian Peninsula.

 

Natural Gas

Natural Gas futures for November settleddown -$.058 or -1.861% at $3.058. Natural gas prices retreated today, extending prior losses to touch a two-week low under the weight of unseasonably mild weather.
