Crude Oil

Crude Oil futures for November settled up $1.04 or 1.164% at $90.42. Oil prices rebounded on Wednesday following the prior session's drop, boosted as reports indicated US President Donald Trump will not ease sanctions on Iran, reinforcing export concerns surrounding a major OPEC producer. Heightened ambiguity surrounding US-Iran negotiations continues to bolster market sentiment, with Iranian spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani confirming Tehran received a counterproposal from Washington regarding the Strait of Hormuz following Iran's conditional offer last week.

Natural Gas

Natural Gas futures for November settled up $.015 or .498% at $3.026. Natural gas prices are up today following a multi-session decline. Despite today’s modest tick higher, the overall technical picture remains vulnerable after front-month contracts slipped below the 50-day moving average amid mild autumn weather forecasts that continue to suppress near-term power burn.
