Meanwhile, prospective diplomatic signals emerged as US President Donald Trump signaled potential openness to sanctions relief and the unfreezing of assets for Tehran provided tangible progress is demonstrated regarding a nuclear deal.

Natural Gas
Natural Gas futures for October settled down -$.196 or -6.133% at $3.000. Natural gas prices pulled back today as market participants monitored repair efforts along the Mountaineer XPress pipeline in West Virginia. The market continues to assess the operational impact after TC Energy's Columbia Gas Transmission unit declared force majeure following a mechanical failure that curtailed roughly 1.4 to 1.8 bcfd of regional transport capacity.
