Crude Oil

Crude Oil futures for October settled up $4.48 or 5.225% at $90.22. Oil prices jumped on Tuesday, reaching its highest level since late July after fresh American military strikes targeted Iranian positions near the Strait of Hormuz following hits on two commercial oil tankers along the critical route.

Natural Gas

Natural Gas futures for October settled down -$.031 or -1.056% at $2.904. Natural gas prices slipped today, highlighting how persistent supply pressures continue to stall short-term price recoveries. Strong underlying demand from late-summer air conditioning burn in the South and East, coupled with robust LNG feedgas intake at facilities like Freeport and Corpus Christi, continues to provide a firm price floor.
