Crude Oil futures for October settled down -$2.05 or -2.355% at $85.01. Oil prices declined on Monday following declarations from US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent regarding strategic sanctions aimed at isolating Iran's economic counterparties.

Natural Gas futures for September settled up $.009 or .325% at $2.782. Natural gas prices gained slightly today as market participants evaluated elevated cooling demand against persistent supply gains and healthy stockpiles.
