Crude Oil

Crude Oil futures for September settled up $2.07 or 2.752% at $77.29. Oil prices climbed on Thursday following news that a parliamentary committee in Tehran is examining draft terms to severely restrict maritime transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

Natural Gas futures for August settled down -$.048 or -1.786% at $2.640. Natural gas prices slipped today to hit a multi-month low as forecasts for widespread moderating weather reduced projected energy consumption.
