Crude Oil futures for September settled down -$3.35 or -4.055% at $79.26. Oil prices dropped on Tuesday, driven by fresh diplomatic initiatives across the Strait of Hormuz aimed at securing Middle East oil supplies. 

 

Natural Gas

Gas futures for August settled down -$.105 or -3.795% at $2.662. Natural gas prices slid today, extending recent losses to a three-month low.
