Crude Oil

Crude Oil futures for August settled up $.74 or .897% at $83.23. Oil prices rose on Monday, reversing earlier intra-day fluctuations as geopolitical risks intensified. The upward momentum accelerated following warnings from President Trump holding Iran accountable for the deaths of three US service members, alongside a newly declared maritime embargo by Yemen's Houthi militants aimed at Saudi Arabia that threatens Red Sea energy shipments.

Natural Gas

Natural Gas futures for August settled down -$.051 or -1.752% at $2.860. Natural gas prices sank today as a strong domestic inventory cushion shielded the American market from Middle Eastern export strains.
