Crude Oil
Crude Oil futures for August settled up $3.54 or 4.484% at $82.49. Oil prices jumped on Friday to mark a fresh one-month peak following disclosures that an Iranian strike targeted a Kuwaiti water desalination and power facility. The offensive escalated further with reports of Iranian retaliatory strikes hitting U.S. assets across Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Syria, which immediately followed a sixth consecutive night of U.S. Central Command bombing raids against dozens of military targets inside Iran.
Natural Gas
Natural Gas futures for August settled up $.053 or 1.854% at $2.911. Natural gas prices rebounded to reclaim the bulk of their prior-session losses, ultimately wrapping up the trading week with only minor declines.
