Crude Oil futures for August settled down -$1.61 or -2.152% at $73.21. Oil prices dropped on Tuesday as market participants closely watched diplomatic breakthroughs aimed at defusing the geopolitical impasse with Iran.

 

Natural Gas

Natural Gas futures for July settled down -$.106 or -3.259% at $3.147. Natural gas prices slipped today as robust inventory levels coupled with revised meteorological outlooks calling for unseasonably cool conditions. From June 23 to 27, meteorologists anticipate depressed temperatures across the mid-Atlantic region, a shift poised to significantly dampen electricity consumption required for cooling.
