Crude Oil

Crude Oil futures for July settled up $1.83 or 2.075% at $90.03. Oil prices rose on Wednesday, as market participants reacted to intensifying geopolitical frictions in the Middle East. Energy markets turned highly volatile after President Trump warned that Iran had taken too long to negotiate a diplomatic deal and would now “have to pay the price,” threatening aggressive retaliatory action.

 

Natural Gas

Natural Gas futures for July settled up $.045 or 1.433%at $3.185. Natural gas prices rose today as an unexpected shift in overnight meteorological models caused July futures to climb.
