Crude Oil futures for May settled down -$10.84 or -11.45% at $83.85. Oil prices collapsed on Friday, marking a five-week bottom as Iran's minister of foreign affairs, Abbas Araghchi, confirmed the Strait of Hormuz has completely reopened for trade.

Natural Gas futures for May settled up $.027 or 1.02% at $2.674. Natural gas prices rose today as a contraction in yield and projections for heightened demand over the coming two weeks lent support, even as prices hovered near their lowest threshold since October 2024.
